  • During law school Lauren was awarded the David and Pearl Tobias Scholarship and worked as a research assistant, researching topics related to international child abduction and immigration and refugee law as well as various constitutional and Charter issues. Co-founder of the Queen’s Family Law Club, volunteer caseworker for the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, as well as the Queen’s Family Law Clinic. Completed a placement at the integrated Family Courthouse in Kingston and participated in the Inaugural Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition
  • As a founding member of the Queen’s Refugee Support Program Lauren continues to volunteer with the Refugee SSP and recently travelled to Greece with an international NGO to provide legal assistance to asylum seekers
  • Member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts’ Ontario Chapter, Young Women in Law, Halton County Law Association, Hamilton Law Association, Toronto Lawyer’s Association, the Ontario Bar Institute, and the Advocates’ Society. Lauren sits on the AFCCO Annual Conference Planning Committee and Young Professionals Committee
