Past Experience:
- During law school, Margarit was a summer student at Legal Aid Ontario – Duty Counsel Office at the Hamilton Unified Family Court. She also worked for the College Park Crown Attorney’s Office in downtown Toronto as a student in the Criminal Law Intensive Program.
- Margarit articled with the Family Law Office at Legal Aid Ontario in downtown Toronto, which provided her with litigation experience in family courts throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
- Margarit volunteered as a researcher for the Domestic Violence Project spearheaded by a McMurtry Fellow at Osgoode Hall Law School. She also translated resources on educational law from English to Korean for Pro Bono Ontario.
- Margarit competed in the annual Gale Cup Moot for appellate constitutional and criminal laws with her teammates from Osgoode. She also coached first-year students for the Baby Gale Cup Moot.
- Upon being called to the Bar, Margarit worked at a prominent family law boutique firm in downtown Toronto and Mississauga prior to joining MacDonald & Partners.
